On Thursday August 28, 2014 about 9:45 P.M. Investigators with the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of 500 Reed St in Waterloo, Iowa. During the search of the residence a quantity of Heroin packaged for delivery was located inside the residence. The suspect Jonathan Nichols date birth 11/12/82 was at the residence. Nichols was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver over 10 grams of Heroin, Violation of Iowa Drug Tax Stamp and Interference with Official Acts. Nichols was later transported to the Black Hawk County Jail. The Tri-County Drug Task Force was also assisted by the Waterloo Police Department Tactical Team and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement.
