Patch

On Tuesday, January 20th, the Waterloo Police Department received a report of shots fired at about 2200 hrs.  Upon arrival officers located multiple shell casings in the driveway in front of 516 Cutler St.  Inside the residence were Kyndal Boyle and Daniel Butz and three other residents who were playing video games.  Both Boyle and Butz sustained gunshot wounds to their buttocks, Butz being just a graze and Boyle still having the slug in her buttocks.  Both were transported to Allen Hospital by Waterloo Fire Department and were released by the end of the night with Boyle scheduled to have surgery at a later time.  There are no suspects and it is unknown what the motive is at this time.
