On Tuesday April 28, 2015 Waterloo Police with the assistance of the Iowa DCI conducted a human trafficking and prostitution sting at a local cooperating hotel.  During this operation the following individuals were arrested and charged with prostitution:

Adem Sakanovic, age 42, of Waterloo

Lamin Trawally, age 27, of Des Moines

Anglene Garrett, age 23, of Waterloo

Stephen Thomas, age 46, of Marion

Sade Vanarsdale, age 23, of Waterloo

Travis Biggs, age 29, of Cedar Falls

Tigstue Woldeyohanns, age 28, of Cedar Falls

Sirr Gardner, age 35, of Waterloo

Osamah Alabbad, age 30, of Dubuque

Cyntia Arshad, age 42, of Waterloo

Juvenile Male, age 17, of Cedar Falls

In addition to the arrests an investigation into pimping is being conducted with possible charges being filed.
