The Waterloo Police Foundation and the Waterloo Police Protective Association (WPPA) are proud to announce the 4th annual Cops and Kids- Christmas event. This event was created to help build positive relationships between Police Officers and Kids in our community.

On December 9, 2017 at 09:00 a.m. Waterloo Police Officers volunteering their time will meet with kids previously selected for this program at the Waterloo Target store. The kids will be paired with an officer to accompany them in shopping for Christmas gifts for them and their families.

Thanks to our partnerships and donations from US Bank, All Star One Outdoor and others this year we are hoping to have 40 kids participate in the event. We are also excited team members from the Waterloo Target Store are setting-up a present wrapping station, and providing some beverages, popcorn, cookies and such for the kids.

Members of the media are welcome to attend. The police officers and the kids will meet at Target on Saturday December 9, 2017 at 08:45 a.m. The event will start at 09:00 a.m.

If you would like to assist financially with this event, tax deductible contributions can be made to the Waterloo Police Foundation via the Waterloo Community Foundation.
