Motorcycle Accident Ends With a Fatality

On Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 00:22 hrs, Officers of the Waterloo Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 1900 block of Bishop.

On officers arrival it was found that this incident was a single vehicle accident, involving a motorcycle. The motorcycle was occupied by the driver and a passenger.

Both the driver and passenger were transported to an area hospital due to injuries sustained in this accident.

The passenger later died as a result of the injuries sustained during the accident.

No names will be released at this time pending notification of family members.

This case is under investigation.
