Man arrested on weapon charges

On Wednesday, May 25, 2011, Waterloo Police stopped a vehicle at Linden Avenue and Glenwood Street for an equipment violation. A search was conducted and officers found a .38 revolver and a knife with a blade over five inches long. The driver was placed under arrest.

Arrested was Rodney Craig Green, age 62, of 501 Main Street, Apartment #1, Dike, IA. Green was charged with two counts of carrying weapons. He currently is being held in the Black Hawk County Jail.
