Waterloo Police Investigate Reported Robbery

On Friday, March 11, 2011, at approximately 8:50 p.m., Waterloo Police Officers were dispatched to the Dollar General, located at 930 W. 5^th Street, on the report of a robbery. Upon arrival officers met with a store employee who reported that a subject had reached into the cash drawer during a transaction and taken an undetermined amount of money. The subject then fled the store.

The subject is described as an adult black male, approximately six feet tall, weighing approximately 225 to 250 pounds.

This case remains under investigation.
