On Sunday, September 29, 2013, at 4:03 AM, Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue were sent to 1266 W. Mullan Avenue on report of a stabbing victim there.
Police found the victim, John Ladell Bass, age 29, of Waterloo with a single stab wound to his upper chest. He was transported to Allen Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Case remains under investigation.
