On January 4th, 2015, Waterloo Fire and Waterloo Police personnel responded to a house fire at 610 W. 11th Street in Waterloo.  Dale Irvin Hansen (59) of Waterloo was found at the scene with substantial burns from the fire and was transported to a local hospital.  Investigators with Waterloo Fire and the Tri-County Drug Task Force were called to the scene after suspicious items were located by Waterloo Fire Personnel.  After a search warrant was executed at the residence Investigators located items consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine.  On February 18th, 2015 Investigators with the Tri-County Drug Task Force obtained warrants for the arrest of Dale Irvin Hansen for Arson 2nd, Unlawful Possession of Pseudoephedrine and Conspiracy to Manufacture Methamphetamine.  On February 27th, 2015, Hansen was arrested at the Black Hawk County Jail on the warrants.  The Investigation into this case is still on-going.
