Waterloo Police ask for public's help in George Wyth State Park Assault case:

On 7-28-15 at approximately 2:53 pm, the Waterloo Police Department responded to a report of a woman who was assaulted in George Wyth Park. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

During the investigation Officers learned the woman was assaulted by a white male with lighter color hair is his 20's. The male may also possibly have scratches to his arms and facial are.  The suspect may also have an irritation from poison ivy. If anyone has seen a person today that matches this description they are asked to call the Waterloo Police Department or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers.

Anyone who was in George Wyth Park on July 28th is asked to call the Waterloo Police Department to report anything that they believe was suspicious in nature.
