On Saturday September 2, 2023, at approximately 12:51 PM, consolidated dispatch received a call of a shooting in progress at E.4^th Street and Mulberry.  Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Personnel arrived on scene and found a male victim who had been shot and began performing life saving measures. The male was transported  by Waterloo Fire Personnel to Allen Hospital.  The male victim was later pronounced dead.  The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.   This is an active case and if you have any information you are asked to contact the Waterloo Police Detective Division.  319-291-4340 #3 or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers 855-300-TIPS.
