On October 18, 2023, at approximately 7:55 PM, Waterloo Patrol Officers were dispatched to the 00 blk of Mulberry Street on a report of shots fired.  Waterloo Patrol Officers and Detectives from the Violent Apprehension Team arrived on scene and discovered the residence at 87 Mulberry Street had been struck several times, along with a vehicle in the street.  No injuries were reported at this time.  Officers were able to stop a suspect’s vehicle and detained several individuals, along with a person who ran on foot.  Detectives have charged three individuals: 20-year-old Keion Buford with Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon. 17-year-old Rayshon Madison with Minor in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Marijuana, and Ineligible Persons in Possession of a Firearm. 15-year-old Marion Madison with Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, Reckless use of a Firearm, Minor in Possession of a Firearm, and Interference with Official Acts.  Investigation is ongoing.

A criminal Charge/Warrant is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
