
The Administrative Division
The Administrative Division includes Finance, IT/Records, Internal Affairs/Personnel, Property/Evidence, and Training.
- The division oversees a 18 million dollar annual budget.
- The division is responsible for accounts payable/receivable, payroll and budget preparation, bid preparation and processing, and grant applications.
- The division conducts background checks for new employees, and internal investigations on existing employees and is responsible for all personnel issues, such as insurance and other employee benefits.
- The division is responsible for training all new officers and the monthly in-service training of Waterloo Police Department employees and employees of other law enforcement agencies as well.
