The Detective Division

The Detective Division is comprised of a Captain, 2 Lieutenants, 5 Sergeants, 25 detectives, and 6 School Resource Officers.

  • The Detective Unit, Domestic Abuse Response Team (DART), School Resource Unit, Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force, Violent Crime Apprehension Team (VCAT), Safe Streets Task Force, and the Crime/Electronic Evidence Laboratory are all under the umbrella of the Detective Division.
  • The Detective Unit investigates major crimes and cases requiring extensive follow-up investigation.
  • The Detective Unit hours are 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
