Lieutenant Greg Fangman has been with the Waterloo Police Department since 1996.  He is currently
assigned to the Internal Affairs/Administrative Division.  

Lieutenant Fangman has previously held assignments in the Patrol and Investigations Divisions, including
Field Training Officer, Field Training Supervisor, Crime Scene Investigator, K-9 Handler, K-9 Trainer, School
Resource Officer, and Investigations. 

Lieutenant Fangman graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology/
Sociology.  He later graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy in 1997.  He is also a 2016
graduate of Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command School.
