On Monday, September 10^th, 2018 at 6:20 PM Waterloo Police were sent to the 700 block of Logan Ave on report of shots fired.   As they were investigating this incident they were notified a male subject had been transported to Allen Hospital by private vehicle.   The victim, Corey Dunn age 18 was treated for non-life-threatening gun shot wound as a result of this shooting.   

At approximately 9:46 PM Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue responded to 84 Ricker on a shots fired call.   Upon their arrival they located a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.   The victim was transported by Waterloo Fire Rescue to Allen Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.  An autopsy is being scheduled with the Iowa State Medical Examiners Office.   The victims name is being withheld pending notification of relatives.

In order to protect the sanctity of the investigation and the criminal justice process no further information will be released at this time.
