On Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at approximately 11:15 PM, Waterloo Police Officers responded to a report of shots being fired in the 500 block of Courtland. Officers located a vehicle on the sidewalk in the 300 block of Courtland and discovered a male victim in the vehicle.  The victim appeared to have suffered a gun shot wound.  The victim was identified as twenty nine year old Taveros Deshun Galloway of Waterloo. Waterloo Fire Rescue was called to the scene and Galloway was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation and no further information is being released at this time.
