On Thursday, September 3, 2009, at approximately 3:18 A.M., Waterloo Police responded to 1326 Washington on a report of a man entering this residence, armed with a knife. The suspect entered the residence of acquaintances, armed himself with a knife from within the residence and began threatening harm to those inside. The intruder then fled when officers arrived and was apprehended a short distance away.

Chirstopher Allan Brandt, age 24, was taken into custody and charged with Burglary 1st Degree, Interference With Official Acts and Public Intoxication.

There were no injuries reported in this incident.
