Gus has worked for the Waterloo Police Department for 3 years. Gus is a very humble person that does an incredible job for our agency. Gus has been witnessed during several tough calls. He has a calm demeanor and takes time to listen to those in need.

Gus was recently selected to be on our Tactical Team and become a Defensive Tactics instructor. Gus is fluent in Spanish and has been called on by many members on our agency to help with translating. Gus has been instrumental in helping translate with some large cases. While Gus has only been with our agency for a short time, he has become a leader among his peers and is someone that we all can look up to.
