Reserve Officer of the Year 2022

The Waterloo Police Department is proud to announce the Reserve Officer of the Year for 2022.

Reserve Officer Robert Damme has served the citizens of Waterloo since 2015. Since that time, he has volunteered his time working events and handling calls for service. Some of the events Damme enjoys working are the 4th Street Cruise, My Waterloo Days, Mayors Fireworks, Shop with a Cop, Irish Fest, Cattle Congress and high school football games. Damme volunteered over 100 hours of his time to the citizens of Waterloo in 2022.

Damme has been a dedicated member of this unit who gives of himself to his community and the other members of his unit. He attends monthly training courses to make sure he is the best officer that he can be for the citizens of Waterloo.
