Update 1-29-2018 @ 0843

On Friday, January 26^th, 2018 at approximately 3:23 PM Waterloo Police responded to 3669 Logan Ave (Garden of Memories Cemetery) for a death investigation.   The deceased was taken to the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s office, where an autopsy was performed on Sunday, January 28^th.   The decedent was identified as 40 year old, Lakisha Quintel Williams.    Williams had been reported missing on Wednesday, January 24th, 2018.    Waterloo Police continue to investigate this death as suspicious and would ask that anyone with any information regarding Lakisha Williams contact the Waterloo Police Investigative Unit at 319-291-4340 ext 5003 or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers at 855-300-8477.
