On Sunday December 1, 2024, at approximately 2:26 PM Waterloo Police and Fire Personnel were dispatched to 219 Lafayette Street on a report of a person who had been shot.  As personnel were arriving on scene, officers were made aware of a 2nd shooting victim that was being transported by private vehicle to a local hospital.  Both victims are currently being treated at a local hospital for their injuries.  Detectives and Lab personnel have been called into assist.
