Waterloo, IA.  

On Tuesday, March 16th, 2021 Officers of the Waterloo Police charged Robert L. Williams age 32 with 1^st Degree Murder in connection with the shooting death of Vincent J. Hemenway.  Vincent Hemenway was shot and killed on August 15^th, 2020, at 556 Adrian Ave, Waterloo.   Williams was charged while in the custody of the Black Hawk County Jail.   Williams had been arrested on August 17th, 2020 on unrelated assault and weapons charges and has remained in custody since that time.

A criminal charge is mer ely an accusation and a defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
