Waterloo Police Department is reminding everyone that fireworks are only allowed to be set off this Saturday, July 3 from Noon to 10pm, Sunday, July 4 from Noon to 11pm, and Monday, July 5 from Noon to 10pm.

The Waterloo Police Department will be conducting Zero Tolerance Patrol in regards to Firework violations. The fine is minimum $375.00. Both consumer(s) and or property owner(s) will be cited. This would include allowing person(s) to set off fireworks on your property. Extra Officers will be patrolling the city the next 3 days in order to enforce this City Ordinance with Zero Tolerance in mind.

We respectfully ask everyone to simply follow the law and the City Ordinance.
