Fatality Accident Update

On Monday, May 22, 2023, at approximately 7:57 AM., Waterloo Police and Fire Rescue were dispatched to a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision in the 4200 blk. of Logan Avenue.  Upon arrival, it was found that this was a double fatality with one person deceased from each vehicle.  The names of the deceased are 58 yrs. old William Smith and 31 yrs. old Aimee Bowers both of Denver, Iowa.   Investigation is ongoing.
