On May 21, 2023, at approximately 8:04 PM Waterloo Police and Fire Rescue were dispatch to 217-D Fereday Court on a report of female unresponsive.  Waterloo Fire Rescue arrived and began performing life saving measures.  During this time, it was observed that the female had several knife wounds.  The female was transported by Waterloo Fire Rescue to Allen Hospital.  The female victim later died because of her injuries.  The victim has been identified as 54 yrs. old Roberta Nagy of Waterloo.  This is an active case and if you have any information you are asked to contact the Waterloo Police Detective Division 319-291-4340 #3 or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers 855-300-TIPS.
