On October 1, 2008 at approximately 12:10 a.m., Waterloo Police responded to the 300 block of Irving Street on a report of a robbery. Officers learned that a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver was attempting to make a delivery in the 300 block of Irving when he was approached by three black males wearing hooded sweatshirts. The suspects demanded money and then assaulted the victim with their hands and a stick. The suspects then fled with the victim’s cell phone, the food items he was attempting to deliver and approximately twenty-eight dollars in cash.
The victim was treated by Waterloo Fire Paramedics for minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
