The Waterloo Police responded to a traffic accident on June 28th, 2009 at 20:41hrs.  The accident occured at the intersection of W. 3rd Street where a vehicle and a 9-year-old child, who was riding a bicycle, collided.  The child was transported to Covenant Hospital by Waterloo Fire and Rescue.  The victims's name and condition are not being released at this time.
