On July 2, 2009 at 4:43PM, Waterloo Police received a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at 6237 Donegal Cir Apartment D in Waterloo. On arrival officers found that two black male suspects, dressed in dark clothing forced entry to the apartment. The suspects were armed with handguns and assaulted the two residents that were present. The suspects then took a quantity of money and property from the apartment and fled the scene.

Both residents of the apartment received non-life threatening injuries and were treated and released from local hospitals.

There are no suspects at this time but detectives continue to investigate the incident.
