On Thursday, September 24, 2009 around 2:15 am, Waterloo Police officers responded to the Romantix Adult Emporium at 1507 LaPorte Road on the report of a possible armed robbery in progress.  When officers arrived on scene they confirmed that a robbery had occurred and that the suspects were seen leaving the area in a car.

A short time later officers located the suspect vehicle and stopped it at West 8th Street and Forest Avenue.  Officers detained three persons and recovered handguns, cash taken from the business and other items of evidence.

At this time the suspect's names will not be released pending further investigation.  No one was injured during this incident.  More information will be released when it is available.
