The Waterloo Police Department will once again provide additional officers to patrol in and around the Crossroads Center shopping mall and the Waterloo downtown business district during the upcoming holiday season.  This proactive project began in the mid 1990's and has proven quite popular with merchants and shoppers alike.

The goal of this project is to provide a high profile law enforcement presence not only at the Crossroads Center shopping mall and downtown business district, but also at the Crossroads Center satellite stores and strip malls as well.  Officers will patrol on foot and by car.  The project will begin on Friday, November 27, 2009 and will continue through the Christmas shopping season.
