On Monday, November 23, 2009 at 11:25 PM, Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue responded to 905 Logan Avenue on a report of shots fired into the residence, and a resident being struck by one of the shots. Officers found that five bullets, fired from a handgun had struck the house and one struck a female who was inside the residence, in the back. She was later transported to an area hospital by Paramedics for a non-life threatening injury.

The incident remains under investigation.
