On Saturday, May 1, 2010 the Waterloo Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks at businesses in the Waterloo area.

The following businesses were compliant:
West Side Liquor, 919 W. 5th Street
5 Star Snacks and More, 437 Sullivan Avenue
Kwik Star, 1636 W. 4th Street
Metro 66, 3201 W. 4th Street

The following businesses and employees were cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to a minor:
Kwik Star, 324 Fletcher Avenue, employee Irene Jurgensen
City Liquor and Tobacco, 508 Broadway Street, employee Jabeen Humaira
Broadway Liquor, 821 Broadway Street, employee Ferida Jasic (2nd violation)
