From May 24, 2010 to June 4, 2010, the Waterloo Police Department, along with other area law enforcement agencies, will participate in the statewide Special Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP). Officers will be enforcing traffic laws with a special emphasis on seat belt and child car seat usage.

The Waterloo Police Department urges all drivers to obey traffic laws, make sure your children are properly secured and wear your seatbelt. This will help reduce the number of injuries and fatalities on our city streets.
