On June 22, 2010, Waterloo Police executed search warrants at 2515 East 4th Street and 2523 East 4th Street reference a robbery investigation.

Arrested was Brandon Hakeem Reynolds, age 21, of Chicago, Illinois. He was charged with three counts of Robbery in the First Degree. He is accused of robbing the New Star Liquor Store, 1625 West 4th Street, Waterloo on May 31, 2010, the Kwik Star, 707 Broadway Avenue, Waterloo on June 11, 2010 and the Pepsi Pavilion on the Cattle Congress Grounds, 257 Ansborough Avenue, Waterloo on June 21, 2010.

In all three robberies, a lone subject came into the business, displayed a handgun and demanded money. Reynolds is currently being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on NO BOND!

Also arrested on one charge of Robbery in the First Degree is Elton Jerome Wade, age 25, of 2515 East 4th Street, Waterloo. He is accused of driving the get-away car during the Pepsi Pavilion robbery. Wade is being held in the Black Hawk County Jail on NO BOND!

These cases remain under investigation. Photos of Reynolds and Wade will not be released at this time.
