Waterloo Police were called to Covenant Medical Center just after 1am Sunday, July 4, 2010 on a report of a gunshot victim.  Officers discovered 19 year-old Trevon Fox from Texas was suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.

 Fox told Officers he had just exited the Liquor Store at 508 Broadway Street when he observed an altercation across the street in the parking lot of the 3 Star Liquor and Tobacco Outlet located at 515 Broadway Street.  Fox stated he then heard gunshots and was struck in the leg.

Fox was transported Covenant Medical Center by private vehicle where he was treated for his injury.  The Waterloo Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to call 319-291-4349.

 This is an on-going investigation and no further information is available.
