On Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at approximately 9:15 PM, Officers with the Waterloo Police, Violent Crime Apprehension Team, stopped a red 1996 Ford Crown Victoria for a traffic violation.

The follow-up investigation resulted in two .380 semi-automatic handguns being recovered and two people arrested. Walter Jametrius Jones, age 25, of 133 Lewis Street, Waterloo was arrested for Carrying Weapons and Possession of Marijuana.  Asa Corderoe Adams, age 21, 133 Lewis Street, Waterloo was arrested for Carrying Weapons. Both were taken to the Black Hawk County Jail.
