The Waterloo Police Department has released its 2011 edition of their "Cop Cards". The 2011 edition contains 40 individual cards and features some special cards for the Bomb Squad, Traffic Unit, School Resource Officers and the Violent Crime Apprehension Team (VCAT).

This is the eleventh set of cop cards that the department has released since 1992. The cards have proven to be very popular with the young citizens of Waterloo. The cop cards are an "ice breaker" for a child to interact with a Police Officer.

The next time you see a Police Officer, ask them for their card!
