Fire Victim Identified
On Friday, August 19, 2022 at approximately 06:53 AM Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue responded to 309 E. 2nd Street on the report of a house fire. As police and fire crews worked to extinguish the fire, they located a male victim inside the residence. The male victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died. The victim has been identified as 60 yrs. old Tony Lewis Grider.
