At Sunday May 27, 2012 at approximately 0253hrs, Officers were dispatched to a large fight in the 200 block of Manson St.  Officers with the Violent Crime Apprehension Team made contact with several suspects in the area.  During the investigation Officers made contact with twenty-three-year-old William Corey Scott Jr. of Waterloo.  Officers heard an object hit the cement in the area where Scott was standing.  Officers then discovered a 9mm handgun that had been tossed under a car where Scott was located.  Scott was taken into custody and charged with carrying weapons.
