On Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at approximately 4:25 AM, the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force & the Waterloo Police Tactical Unit executed six search warrants at residences in Waterloo.

The residences searched were:

419 1/2 Wellington Street
314 Wellington Street, Apartment # 107
1013 West Mullan Avenue
2100 Weis Court, Apartment # B101
219 Lafayette Street
302 Commercial Street, Apartment 11 1/2

Investigators recovered guns, cash, marijuana and crack cocaine. The case remains under investigation.

The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force was assisted by the Waterloo Police Department, Cedar Falls Police Department, Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office, Iowa Department of Narcotic Enforcement and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
