On Friday, August 3, 2012 at approximately 1:35 PM, Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue were sent to 302 Allen Street on a report of a shooting.

Responding officers found two victims at the scene. They were treated by WFR and taken to a local hospital. A third victim was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle. All three received injuries from a shotgun blast. None of the injuries is life threatening.

Police located a vehicle believed to have been used by the shooters on Sunnyside Avenue. They searched the house at 224 Sunnyside Avenue and detained two people. The case remains under investigation.
