A visitor to the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers facebook page has helped solve thefts in the Crossroads area. After receiving the tip and reviewing the surveillance video the Waterloo Police Department received arrest warrants for Krista Lee Hemple-Anderson DOB 4-28-66 of Dubuque and John Frank Turner II DOB 6-26-65 of Dubuque.
Both Arrest Warrants are for the charge of Theft 2nd in connection to a series of thefts on 9-7-12. Hemple-Anderson was arrested on the warrant on 9-29-12 and has since bonded out of the Black Hawk County Jail. Turner was located at the Scott County Jail, where he is awaiting extradition to the Blackhawk County Jail where the warrant will be served.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty
