Two recent tips to the Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers has resulted in the arrest of two local people. On November 5th officers with the Waterloo Police Department located and arrested Carol D Mix age 57, at 302 Commercial Apt 8. Mix had warrants out of Waterloo for Forgery and Failure to Appear for Court. Mix also has a warrant out of Forest Park, Illinois for Aggravated Battery. On November 8th, Waterloo officers placed Donald Reed, age 51, under arrest at 548 1/2 Riehl Street for simple assault.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
