On Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at approximately 9:05 PM, Waterloo Police were dispatched to 422 Gable Street on report of a large fight and possible gunshots.

Later, Waterloo Police were dispatched to 922 Columbia Street on report of a stabbing victim. Officer found that Christine Atkins, age 41, of 922 Columbia Street had been stabbed in the stomach during the fight on Gable Street. She was transported to Allen Hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
