On Monday, September 9, 2013 just before 11 pm Waterloo Police responded to a report of shots being fired in the 2600 block of East 4th Street. Several minutes later Allen Hospital reported a victim had arrived in their Emergency Room suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Responding Officers identified the victim as 20 year old Chaston Fox of Waterloo.
This case remains under investigation and no further details are being released.
