On Friday, September 13, 2013 at approximately 1:52 AM, Waterloo Police were sent to Rainbow Drive and Hackett Road on report that a motorcycle struck a utility pole. Officers found a 33 year old Waverly man dead at the scene. He was not wearing a helmet.  According to witnesses, he was westbound on Rainbow Drive traveling at a high rate of speed, when he struck the pole.   His name is not being released until family is notified.
