On Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at approximately 10:56 AM, Waterloo Police and Waterloo Fire Rescue were dispatched to the intersection Highway 21 and Highway 20 on report of an accident.

Officers found that a red Oldsmobile was heading south on Highway 21 and turned eastbound into the path of a semi that was traveling northbound. The driver of the Oldsmobile was taken to Covenant Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Identification of the drivers will not be released until family is notified.
