On March 10, 2015 at 3:05 A.M. an Officer of the Waterloo Police Department attempted to make a traffic stop in the area of Conger and Fairview Street, on a vehicle that had no license plates.
The vehicle occupied by a lone black male attempted to elude the officer in the residence area with speeds in excess of 60 mph. The suspect vehicle while attempting to make a turn onto Reed Street from W. Parker Street, lost control and struck the house of 154 W. Parker Street, causing damage to the residence.
At that time the suspect could be seen throwing items from the car just before he climbed out of the window and fled on foot. The suspect was located moments later hiding under a vehicle in the 400 block of Reed Street. The items that were thrown from the vehicle were recovered and identified as baggie of methamphetamine and smoking pipe.
Arrested was Undray Jermaine Reed, age 39. Reed was charged with Felony Eluding, Possession of a controlled substance 3rd offense, Interference with official acts, Driving while license revoked and several other traffic offenses.
