On April 23rd, 2015 the Waterloo Police Department received notification from the Bernalillo County Sheriffs Department in Albuquerque, New Mexico that they had an active warrant on a charge of attempted murder for Deandre Marquis Stanford, age 18. Waterloo Police located Stanford at his residence, 337 Monroe Street. He was taken into custody without incident. Stanford was transported to the Black Hawk County Jail where he is awaiting extradition back to New Mexico.
